Mystic Merlin were originally a novelty magic/music troupe in the 70s before evolving into a fully fledged soul/funk act. Their wacky antics were purely visual though and this 7 minute version of 'Just Can't Give It Up' has such a brilliant groove which has me hooked every time I hear it. The vocal is pretty superb too.
